the place was a circus though, way too many of those creepy trinket vendors

I certainly do, I indulged in that stuff pretty much every day I was there

evidently not at high tide, cool - I just couldn't get that close to the pigeons, they freak me out

haha - holy crap, everyone must take that picture there, it's too hard to resist

I think they are just about the same in aggresiveness when compared to NY's ;)
